With all major team sports represented plus numerous colleges and tournaments hosted here, the opportunities in D. C. were great for photography.

I was covering a tennis tournament in D. C. Romanian bad boy Ilie Nastase was called twice for a foot-fault. He got mad, took off his shoe and threw it at the referee!
